On May 16th 2017, a total of 16 participants that comprised CPI, ACEP Kabul-based, regional and provincial partners visited Coordination of Rehabilitation and Development Services for Afghanistan CRDSA. During the visit the participants learned CRDSA best practices, approaches to financial sustainability, business charity for social development, understand innovative methods of conducting awareness session and advocacy. The participants appreciated the initiatives that have been taken by CRDSA. Participants evaluated the visit very useful to exchange ideas and extend the knowledge of the Civil Society Organizations. In addition, the participants discussed and agreed on establishing a strong network to broadly advocate for the common issues at the national level to increase access to each province where CPI’s PCPs are there. At the end of the visit, CRSDA welcomed the participants and committed to share its knowledge and experiences with other CSOs in the fields needed. Meanwhile, the participants have also visited CRDSA vocational training center that provide VS training to Afghan Returnees, IDPs and hosting community purposing job creation and economy empowerment.
