On July 14, 2020, CRDSA distributed food packages to 21 internally displaced families in Herat.
The IDP families are the main residents of the Pashtun Zarghoon and Ab Kamari districts of Herat and Badghis provinces who are recently displaced as the results of armed conflict between Afghan security forces and anti-government elements.
Food packages include 184 kg of wheat flour; 9.1 kg of vegetable oil, 2 kg of salt, 2.1 kg of high-energy biscuits, and 25 kg of split peas that were distributed with the presence of the related government officials in the Ansar Camp.
It is mentionable that the program is implementing with the financial supports of World Food Program (WFP) in Herat province, whose beneficiaries are conflict/war-affected people
