The meeting was held on July 14, 2020, with participation of representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations in Herat Prison, in which the participants assessed the current situation of Herat Juveniles Rehabilitation Center (HJRC) expressed their achievements and suggested appropriate solutions to solve the existing problems. .

According to a presidential decree, the responsibility for the HJRC was recently transferred from the Department of Justice to the Prisons Administration Office, and this was the first coordination meeting between HJRC partners conducted with the technical and financial support of CRDSA.

It should be noted that CRDSA has been providing educational, legal, social, vocational and hygiene services to HJRC juveniles for 5 years and these services will continue until the end of September 2020
